The service

RunPaceKit (runpacekit.com) is a free set of web calculators and guides for running pace and race splits. You may use it for any personal, non-commercial purpose without an account. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

Provided "as is", no warranty

The site and its contents are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy. We work to keep the arithmetic correct and the methodology documented, but you use the calculators, tables and guides at your own discretion, and you remain responsible for verifying anything on which you intend to rely.

Results are scenarios, not advice

Every result on this site is an arithmetic scenario computed from the inputs you provide. Results do not predict your fitness, do not guarantee that a target is achievable, and are not coaching, training, medical or nutritional advice. Consult a qualified professional for decisions about your training, health or race preparation. Nothing on this site creates a coach–athlete or professional relationship.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator is not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental or consequential — arising from use of, or inability to use, the site, including reliance on calculated results. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, in which case these limits apply to the fullest extent the law allows.

Intellectual property

The site's code, text and design are owned by the site operator and protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with a link; wholesale copying of the content is not permitted without permission. Product names, race series and brand names mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners; their use is descriptive and does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Governing provisions

These terms are kept intentionally generic and are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
