Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-08

This policy describes exactly what the RunPaceKit build in front of you does with data. It is written to match the code, not an aspiration: this is a static site, and the features described here are the features that exist.

Hosting and server logs

RunPaceKit is served as static files from Cloudflare Pages. Like any web platform, the hosting provider processes standard server logs (for example IP addresses and request metadata) for security and delivery purposes, under its own infrastructure policies. This site does not add anything to those logs and does not use them to profile visitors.

Calculations run entirely in your browser

All pace, split and strategy calculations execute in JavaScript on your device. Distances, times, paces and split tables you enter or generate are never transmitted to any server by this site.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your distances, times, plans or calculators inputs — they are not sent to any server. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no newsletter. No analytics service is enabled at launch; if that ever changes, this page will be updated first.

Data stored on your device

The site uses your browser's local storage for two features, both strictly local:

Cookies and local storage

At launch, RunPaceKit sets no cookies, loads no analytics scripts, and has no advertising enabled (AdSense is not active), so no advertising cookies exist. The only browser storage used is the local-storage keys listed above, which hold the data you chose to save and never identify you. If advertising or analytics are ever enabled, a consent banner will appear before anything of the kind is activated, and this section will be updated to say exactly what was added.

Clearing your data

You can remove everything at any time: the footer's "Clear saved plan" control deletes the saved plan, browser settings clear local storage entirely, and drafts expire on their own. No server-side copy exists to delete.

Changes to this policy

If the site's data practices change — for example, enabling analytics or advertising — this page will be updated with a new "last updated" date before the change takes effect. Questions are welcome through the contact page.
